The middle school attached to the NPU (NPUMS) is one of the most popular high schools in Xi'an, China. Founded in 1971, the school became one among the key schools in Shaanxi by 1985,〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=西北工业大学附属中学概况 )〕 and eventually on 14 April 2009 it became "the demonstrate school in Shaanxi"〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=我校隆重举行"陕西省示范高中"揭牌仪式 )〕。 Students of NPUMS tend to get a very high score in the Zhongkao of the Chinese mainland.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=西工大附中2013年中考录取分数线为638分，居西安市之首。 )〕 According to the results of the Gaokao (the entrance examination of the colleges in Chinese mainland), 104 students in the NPUMS got an offer for Tsinghua University (TSU) and Peking University (PKU). ''The Gongda Chemistry Association'', founded by Nova Cheong, is now the most popular and attractive association in school. Three masters are leading the association at present time: the ''chairman'' of PCP (''Physics and Chemistry Party'') Guo Shiao-yue, the EP (''Explosion Party'') leader Dr. Tee Swe-ton and the ''president'' of TDP (''Two-dimensional Party'') Shin Kai.
